When should I be sending my invitations out? Your invitations should be sent approx 12 weeks before your big day. If you are getting married in the summer months of July or August, it is worth sending them out even earlier as holidays are often booked months in advance. How many invitations will I need? You need to send 1 x invitation per household. On average this is half the amount of daytime guests. Evening invitations tend to require slightly more as there will be more single guests.
